After School Homework Center
Our After school Homework Center is open Mondays through Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m.
The program offers free homework help in a quiet and safe environment. During this time we are also offering online homework help via zoom.
The Homework Center is a partnership between First Congregational United Church of Christ, CAPS and the San Bernardino City School District, which supports the program with a grant.
All children from the community are welcome, and there is no charge for the program.
Please have a parent or guardian come with the child on the first day in order to fill out necessary paperwork and contact information. If you prefer online, please contact Kathy McCool at youth@sbucc.org to have a packet emailed.
Children should come with homework from school, although we have materials available also for those who don’t have any homework.
Volunteer tutors are welcome, needed, and very appreciated – see the director with any questions or to offer your help.
Contact the Homework Center director, Kathryn McCool, with any questions at 909 886 4911 x 104 or youth@sbucc.org.
